Q: Are your games marked “on pre-order” actually completed? Are they confirmed to work on the real Neo Geo hardware?

A: Yes, our policy is to offer our games for pre-order only when they are 100% completed and functional, both on emulation devices and on real AES and MVS hardware. We only open pre-orders when they are ready for production.

Q: Why is the game on pre-order?

A: We need the pre-orders strictly to fund the physical release; we appreciate and value your confidence and your patience during the wait, which we’ll do our best to make as short as possible. The best place to be updated about the production status is our Discord chan, but do not hesitate to contact us by email.

Q: Why does it take months before shipping?

A: We generally have some more work to do on the printed material, and more importantly, production, assembly, and quality assurance take time and can be subject to unpredictable delays. We do our best however to respect the announced schedule and bring you a great product!

Q: Are there any known compatibility issues with your games? Like, do the carts require additional power or something?

A: The one issue we know about is that on multi MVS slots, the “change game” feature doesn’t work: the cursor will remain stuck on our game title. If one of our games is in the slot, it's the only game that will start and you can not cycle through the other games. So to be clear, you CAN play our games in an MV2 or MV4 slot - but it will be the only game available to play, no matter which slot you put it in. Also, please beware that for legal reasons, the “eye-catcher” sequence with the Neo-Geo logo and music are either removed/muted (on MVS) or skipped entirely (on AES).

Q: Are you going to port the game to other systems?

A: It depends on the game. Cyborg Force was originally developed for the Neo Geo, and it has already been ported to the PC, PSP and Dreamcast (all versions were then made available for download). We had to give up on the Neo Geo CD. There will be ports of Captain Barrel to the PC, PSP and Dreamcast too; we are considering more (including the Neo CD, this time!) but it is still too early to tell and will depend on the success of the initial releases.

Q: I can’t find the digital downloads for Captain Barrel??

A: We cannot offer downloads on pre-order. All versions of the game will be available for purchase once we have shipped the physical editions.

Q: I just purchased a physical copy of the game, do I also get a digital version?

A: Yes. Unfortunately, as our web interface doesn’t allow us to link a download to a physical purchase, you will need to email us with your name and order number to get your digital files. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Q: Are you related to other companies or previous projects on the Neo Geo?

A: We made a fan game before, called The Eye Of Typhoon [Saiki/Tsunami Edition]. It’s completely unofficial and also completely free to download: https://ozzyouzo.itch.io/teot
